The case (2)

Thomas closed the laptop screen and spoke to Amanda:

"Our only leads are her friend named Natasha and a woman in a white dress..."

Amanda thought for a while and asked Thomas:

"It's very strange, the two girls having committed suicide in the same way... Do you think there's something strange in this room?"

"Perhaps, we will only know if someone actually sleeps here..."

"What a great idea, Thomas! I'll let the others know about our findings and ask the secretary to switch rooms."

"What? Why do I have to sleep here alone?!

"Sigh, Amelia only had visions when she was alone and you're not afraid of ghosts right? And it's not guaranteed to be the bedroom, so relax."

Thomas, despite not believing in ghosts, was reluctant to sleep in a room where two people had committed suicide.

Thomas sighed and spoke in a defeated tone:

"Okay, I'm going to sleep here tonight..."

"Not just today, you have to sleep at least a week here."

"What? Why a week?!"

"It's likely that Amelia started having visions 7 days before she committed suicide, understand?"

"Okay, I'm going to sleep here for a week."

"Great, I'll let the others know now, you can look for new leads for now."

Amanda finished talking and left the room.

Thomas watched her leave and spoke as he looked around the room:

"There are no hauntings here, right?"

He decided to shift his brain's focus and start investigating the room again.

After a while, Thomas found a phone in a drawer and turned it on, oddly enough, it had no password.

He noticed that there was a wallpaper of a girl and a man kissing, then he realized that the cell phone belonged to another girl who committed suicide, Amelia's roommate.

He accesses his social network and tries to get new information. He went straight to conversations and clicked on the last held conversation.

(November 14, 3:10 am)

Antony, I'm in my room, I'm seeing a woman hanged, it's the same woman Amelia said she saw.

She's hanging from the ceiling, looking down at me."

I can't open the bedroom door, my mana doesn't work, help me.

Why the hell are you sleeping there? Your roommate didn't kill herself?

I don't know, I woke up here suddenly, I was sleeping with Jessica.

What do you mean you woke up?

I don't know either, I just woke up and I was lying in bed with that woman looking at me.

I will.

She is moving.

Find a place to hide.

Emma?

Emma? are you there?

The door won't open, Emma! Are you there?

.

.

.

"The last message is this... And it was said on the news that he was the one who found Emma's body."

Thomas sighed and said again:

"Sigh, so it wasn't suicide... The school should have told the media it was suicide, just so they wouldn't lose the school's perfect image."

Thomas looked at the rope hanging from the ceiling and said:

"There's something in this room..."

Thomas decided to leave the dorm and warn the others about the new information he gained.

.

.

.

Inside Brian's dorm, there were Amanda, Thomas, Elizabeth, Connor, Annabelle and Brian. They were sharing the information they got.

"So there's some kind of monster inside room '666'?"

Brian asked Amanda and Thomas, and they replied:

"It's a woman in a white dress."

Thomas sighed and spoke again:

"Sigh, I don't know what we're dealing with, but this monster seems to be able to block mana, teleport someone into that room and have them hang themselves."

Everyone marveled at the ability to (block mana) the monster had, but no one brought it up, and Brian asked:

"And how did we find this woman?"

"This is a little tricky..."

"Why?"

Amanda who answers the question:

"It only seems to manifest itself at 03:00 in the morning and the person has to be alone in the room."

A silence descended on the room, until Brian spoke:

"So someone has to stay..."

"I will go."

Everyone looked at Thomas in shock, except for Amanda.

Annabelle looked at Thomas and said in a worried tone:

"It's too dangerous, you just entered class E, if someone has to go, at least it has to be class D or C."

Everyone agreed with Annabelle, but then Thomas replied:

"The two dead girls were class C, so we can conclude that the entity inside the room can easily defeat all of you."

"If she can easily kill us, then imagine what she could do to you!"

Annabelle and Thomas argued for a while until Brian interrupted them by saying:

"I agree with him."

Annabelle looked shocked at Brian, but he continued saying:

"I know you don't like this, but he might be our best chance."

"What do you mean? We don't even know what we're dealing with, and you want to send him there?"

"Sigh, even if the woman manages to do something to Thomas, you know there's no way he can die..."

Annabelle stopped talking and remembered the being inside Thomas. Despite not having liked it, she decided to trust and believe that nothing will go wrong.

Elizabeth spoke while stretching:

"That woman appears to be a ghost."

Everyone looked at Elizabeth and Thomas said:

"You know that kind of thing doesn't exist, right? At the very least it must be a monster."

"It's not that impossible..."

Everyone looked in the direction of the voice and realized it was Brian who was speaking.

Amanda asked Brian in a serious tone.

"Why do you think that?"

"It's just a guess for now..."

When Amanda questioned again, Thomas would say:

"I've been cleared to stay in room '666', I'm going to get some of my stuff from my old room, so bye."

Everyone nodded and Thomas left the room.

While walking alone down the hall, he picked up his cell phone and called to see the time, but when he went to turn on the screen, he noticed through the mirror of the cell phone, a woman in a white dress looking at him.

Thomas was turning in a battle stance, but as he turned around he noticed that there was no one in the hallway and asked:

"Is there someone here?"

Although he wasn't 100% sure, he decided to go back to Brian's room and let his friends know that he saw the woman in the white dress.

Thomas stopped in front of Brian's bedroom door and opened it, but upon entering, he realized that there was no one there and that the room had all the lights off.

He thought he entered the wrong room by mistake, but when he turned to leave, the door closed by itself, he tried to open it, but the door was not opening.

He started to despair and tried to use mana to break down the door, but to his surprise, he had no mana.

A shiver ran down Thomas's spine and he felt a presence behind him, he turned and noticed a woman in a white dress, hanging from the bedroom ceiling.

He then realized one thing:

'It started!'
