Six hours of darkness (End)

"So, shall we talk?"

The goddesses looked into the darkness not knowing what to say.

Charles stared at the girls hoping for an answer, but seeing their silence from the goddesses, he said:

"Sigh, what have you come here to do?"

Gaia took a deep breath and answered in the girls' place:

"We have come to stop you."

"Oh, is that true, Aphrodite?"

Aphrodite was startled to hear her name being uttered by the darkness, but instead of feeling fear, she was happy because the darkness knows her name:

"Yes, hehe."

Charles picked up a piece of pizza and spoke as he ate:

"Stop me from what exactly?"

The goddesses looked at each other waiting for one of them to answer the question.

After a period of silence, Gaia answered:

"To stop you from destroying the earth."

Even after hearing Gaia's answer, Charles said nothing and continued to eat his pizza.

After he had finished eating, Charles said to the goddesses:

"It is not in my plans to destroy the earth."

The goddesses widened their eyes in surprise and Kali said:

"Why? As far as I know, you are a being who abhors all life except your own."

"Hm, you may not be wrong, but I have said before, destroying the earth is not in my plans."

Kali didn't seem very convinced, but Gaia said warning her:

"Kali, why do you think someone of his caliber would need to lie?"

Kali was shocked and remembered who the being in front of her was and said:

"Forgive me for doubting you."

Charles put his chin against his palms and replied:

"Very well, now let's talk about you working for me".

Charles looked at the goddesses and noticed their shocked expressions. He smiled and said again:

"I need you to find the 'hand of God'."

The goddesses heard that name and were surprised, they had heard that name before, it was something Lucifer wanted.

Gaia spoke to Charles:

"Lucifer attacked us some time ago and to save us, mors seems to have told Lucifer the location of this 'Hand of God', so Lucifer has probably already picked up this artifact."

Charles was surprised by this information and reflected:

'This didn't happen in the original story, if it continues like this, things will get out of my control...'

"Sigh, I know the location of your other half and you will find it for me and give it to a boy named Brian, he is a friend of Thomas, so it will be easy to find him."

The goddesses were surprised again, they had no idea what this artifact was, let alone what it was for.

Aphrodite was curious about this mysterious artifact and asked:

"What is this hand of God?"

Charles stretched trying to straighten his spine and answered Aphrodite:

"It's a sword."

The goddesses were confused and asked at the same time:

"A sword?"

Charles just stretched and spoke:

"It is the strongest sword in the universe, such a sword, could wound the creator and even me."

The goddesses were amazed at this information, they would never think that a sword of this caliber could exist, but what shocked them the most was that this sword should be in the possession of a human.

Kali was in doubt and asked Charles directly:

"Why do we have to take it to a human? Wouldn't he die just by touching that sword?"

"Hm, you are not wrong, but he is a different human than the others and the sword should be his from the beginning."

Kali heard this answer and just nodded without saying anything else, although she had many doubts, she decided to keep quiet and obey.

Charles got up from his chair and started walking towards the exit of the establishment.

The goddesses seeing this, were surprised and Aphrodite hurriedly asked as she stood up:

"But where is the sword?

Charles snapped his fingers and said:

"I don't know its exact location, but since you are goddesses, I imagine it won't take long to find it."

The goddesses did not understand the location of the artifact, but suddenly they all felt a pain in their palms and when they looked at their hands, they noticed that something was being written on their skin, "mount nebo".

Aphrodite became angry and spoke up:

"Damn it, couldn't he just tell us?"

Gaia looked at her injured hand and said:

"That was a warning, he wants to warn us that there will be consequences if we end up betraying him."

Kali and Aphrodite both widened their eyes in surprise and stopped giving complaints.

Kali looked at the girls and spoke:

"Mount nebo is huge, how are we going to find this sword?"

Gaia replied as she left the establishment:

"I already have a plan, so let's leave soon."

Kali and Aphrodite nodded and began to follow Gaia out.

As she was leaving, Gaia reflected:

'That sword could change the course of the war...'

Charles was now standing on top of the tallest building in the city and mentally spoke:

'The view from up here is beautiful.... Sometimes I wish I could just be human, having so much power in this world makes us have too much work.'

Charles sighed and sat on the edge of the building and continued to ponder:

'Where do I go now?'
