[Bonus chapter]

Charles and Daniel, were leaving the castle accompanied by Lilith.

Daniel looked at his master and asked:

"Master, was that deal beneficial to you?"

Charles replied, keeping his eyes focused in front of him:

"We find ourselves at an impasse, but I am at a disadvantage..."

Daniel was saddened by this news, since he had met his master, his life had changed completely, he had the pleasure of knowing the true reality of the world, as well as the existence of beings he thought did not exist. Listening to the conversation between Lucifer and Charles, Daniel could conclude several things about his master, and his pride and pleasure at being able to serve someone of Charles' caliber only increased.

Daniel took a deep breath as he tried to erase the thoughts from his head and said ending the conversation:

"I understand."

So they continued walking in silence.

As they left the castle, Lilith stopped walking and turned to the two and just as she was about to speak, she noticed that the darkness and Daniel passed her and they continued walking.

She turned again and looked at the backs of the two men and reflected:

'They don't need me...'

She bowed to darkness and walked back into the castle.

As they walked, Daniel had noticed that his master was irritated about something, he took courage and asked with concern:

"Master, is there something that irritates you?"

Charles heard his subordinate's question and wondered whether or not he should say it, he who in his past life, had never opened up to someone to the extent of telling his feelings, but decided he needed someone to vent to and told Daniel:

"I want to kill everyone, everyone, leaving no one alive, hell, earth, paradise, I want to destroy everything until there is nothing left, it's a hatred that was born and has grown more and more since I became darkness. I try to suppress this feeling, but it seems to be getting harder and harder..."

Daniel was shocked to realize why his master was angry, but he had no words to help his master.

All Daniel did was to remain silent in a sad atmosphere, reflecting on what his master had said.

Charles looked up at the sky of hell that was lit up thanks to its sun and reflected:

'I want to be human again, I want to go back to my normal, boring life, I want to see my family, I want to experience love, happiness, but I know it's impossible right now.... I ended up distancing myself from the real me, but I chose this path, didn't I? To value myself above all else.'

Suddenly, Charles felt a strong beat in his heart and stopped walking, he noticed that something was wrong, Thomas was dead....
