Stories Hallucinations Tell

It had been days since Lenny left Athena behind.

She had screamed, kicked, and begged, but Lenny was not interested and walked away.

She had dislocated her shoulder.

The injury was so bad that it tore through her flesh.

She was a gladiator, and such an injury was as good as daily bread.

However, the real problem was that when Lenny was blasted with negative Magic, some of it got to her.

Some of it had entered the wound before she could pop those dislocated bones back in place.

At first, there was nearly nothing wrong.

However, over time, the negative Magic started to take a natural toll on her body as it spread.

The first thing it did was whack her sense of direction.

All of a sudden, she was not sure which direction to follow.

Meaning that she was not sure which direction was the right or the wrong one.
