Wanting to become a striker, Byron Whitaker was hit with a dose of reality that told him that he wasn't adequate enough to be one.
 
Due to this he is put as a central midfielder and that's where his talents truly shine, his passing, his stamina, his vision. All these things make him realize he was looking at the pitch with a closed mind. 

However, in this new position he can still achieve his dream, his dream of becoming a pro player. However, even though he accepted a position change, he would never give up his love for goals.

"I know we're a defense-oriented team but isn't this a little bit too much? A normal 4-3-3 should work with our team structure." Haj asked the coach as he read the formation she presented.

"That's true, we aren't necessarily lacking in attack and we can handle our defense. Focusing solely on defense doesn't seem like the right play." Julian agreed with him.

"Well, for one. Afeez Afolabi, Shin Ha-Jun, Danny Friedman. These players are all capable of using long passes to tear through defenses and when Afeez is on the receiving end of that ball. It's game over." Isabella walked over to the board and drew a formation. "Let's say Marion plays their 4-4-2 formation, using Shin, Liam, and Nagisa to continuously pass into our box. Even if we defend it properly, at some point we will concede. And the best way to stop that from happening would be to simply add more defenders into the box."
