"Oh no" grey said as the leech like tentacles lunged towards him ripping through the remaining foxes dragging Joe with them.

It was at this moment he realized the blast of energy earlier knocked away his new golden disc.

At that moment he wished it was in his paws the disc glowed slightly with a slow hum and flew into his paw slicing through three of the leeches on joes back.

While the last one was screeling in pain Joe took this opportunity to pick up a large rock and slammed it on the weird tentacle leech repeatedly until it severed due to impact.

Both of them sat there panting from exhaustion.

"Damm Joe did you come back to life with some sort of leech demon?" Grey muttered of after slowly regaining his breath.

" I tell you lad, I haven't the faintest clue what I agreed to but know I vow to control this darkness inside me. Also what kind of weapon is that."

Grey looked at his golden disc proudly "I believe the one who gave me this called it a chakrum."

Joe slowly got up " you know lad I once envied you the buck who causes trouble everywhere you go because the village elders saw your talent with weapon they let you get a away with a lot."

"Ha, you think I had talent nah what I did was play with the weapons over and over again because it seemed fun and useful. To the point where I became very good at handling them like the rope darts most bucks can't use them cause of the difficult handling but I kept going because it was hard, and I made a bet."

Joe looked around and saw the once peaceful burrow village now totally destroyed and in ruins making his heart ache. Tonight was supposed to be a special night but now it's a night of grievance.

Jo looked back at the golden disc in grays paws "what exactly is that thing" he asked curiously.

Grey just sighed " I guess just like you did I made a deal with something and in exchange he gave me knowledge and this chakram along with a plot of land for my family."

" you know now that you have a weapon that suits you it needs a name" Joe said trying to lighten the mood

"Hmmm" grey sat there and pondered for a few minutes before something clicked " how about the golden Haze."

Grey just sat there laying on the floor exhausted before he eventually fell asleep on the floor after a few minutes.

"WELCOME BACK" echoed a intimidating voice in a grassy meadow

"Ugh, not so loud I'm trying to sleep here grey said covering his floppy ears.

A green pillow materialized under gray head as he slowly got up and threw that pillow with all his might at the source of irritating sounds.

He looked at the source of his waking but what he saw was a large bear with blue fur and golden eyes staring at him with a pillow hanging on his snout.

"You DARE throw at me the great Teddy Alex azul guardian of th-"

Grey interrupted him " exude me oh big blue one but where the hell am I and why am I here"

Ted threw the pillow back at grey "dammit did you forget about our deal"

Grey thought about it "oh yeah, your the who needs a weak bunny like me to protect someone and the one the looked at my mom funny"

Ted was flabbergasted and could not think of anything to say before Changing the subject

"Anyways we are here in your lucid lands or dreams as you call them and I'm here to teach you about the stage one sound rune before you travel to my domain for our deal."

Grey looked seriously at Ted "I can't do that my village is in trouble and I need have everyone leave, can't you give me whatever you need through my dreams like last time"

Ted looked like an exhausted father for a second "it's not that easy your golden haze is made from your dreams and fused with your blood. Plus I can give you a gate stone to teleport your family safety if you come in person"

"And remember now don't absorb any soul flow just keep condensing your own to strengthen it without powering up." Ted said sternly

"HEY ARE YOU…falling asleep in a dream?

Grey repeated back "sounds basic abilities are Change noise output, mimic sounds, vibrations, enhance hearing, enhance speed, translating intent And if I'm not careful it can kill me in the first three stages bla bla bla you old folks make learning so boring and exhausting."

Grey abruptly opened his eyes and look to the left where loud sounds came from and saw an all silvery snail trying to eat his golden haze but struggling to finish. after looking around he saw all metallic weapons on the floor half eaten but his golden Haze seemed to have a mending effect slowly restoring it.

After watching the snail continue eat it for a few seconds it burped loudly looking satisfied.

"Are you finally satisfied little one" grey said with a smirk

The now startled snail went in its shell as Liquid Metal seeped out forming a silver ball that tried rolling away

Grabbing the metal ball before it rolled away grey calmed his voice "hello there little one I mean you no harm but I am curious about your ability's if you answer my questions I'll let you keep nibbling on my disc.

The only sounds from the ball was a (hmmph)

And although he could not get the words he understood the meaning of the sounds just like with the fox.

"No I promise I won't eat you" he said with a light chuckle.

The metal ball slowly morphed forming a smiling face (mmnm)

"Well hello there zinc can you make any kind of weapon you want with your metal rune?

Zinc formed a thumbs up and by greys feet dropped metal tools of all kinds like strings, blades, discs, chains and a big metal rock

" we really need to work on your definition of a weapon but that's ok we rabbits are great in most fields of study." Grey stated proudly.

Zinc formed a sad face (mph nnm mmhm)

"I see don't worry I'll be your first friend you can live with my family all you have to do is make some weapons for and I will protect you with my life."

The metal ball slowly went back in her shell as she started crawling on grey before she made herself comfortable on his shoulder and fell asleep. "Well aren't as heavy as you are shy"

Grey looked up at the fox tunnels above and saw the moon still in the sky. " looks like I should get some sleep as well before we head out."
