Entering the light source, Ariann appeared in what seemed to be a dark world, with Gabriel beside her. The only source of light was the shining moon, which stood out like a sore spot in the serene scene.
"You get easily transfixed," said Gabriel, shaking his head disapprovingly.
"Do you know a funny fact?… no… you are worse than me," said Ariann, asking and answering her question. She was pissed by Gabriel's continuous teasing.
"Ohh, you're now in the mood to talk, right?" Said Gabriel, using his hand to cover his mouth.
"F.u.c.k… fuck you," Ariann said, harrumphing while moving forward.
"Ooh, now you wanna go that way," said Gabriel, forming a leer smile.
"Disgusting… I'm gonna tell your elders," she said, throwing a fit.
"I think you are forgetting something," said Gabriel, smiling.
"What?" Ariann replied, turning to look at him, with her scary-looking eyes.
"They are also your elders," said Gabriel in a playful tone.
"Fuck you, Gabriel!" Ariann yelled, taking off her shoes to hit Gabriel.
"Ouch,"
"Ouch,"
"I'm sorry… I was just kidding!" Yelled Gabriel, running away from Ariann.
"I'm gonna kill you!" Ariann held, not minding his plea.
"Ahem," came a coughing sound.
They both stopped in their tracks, turning to look at the newcomer.
"Jack… what's up?" Asked Gabriel, moving toward Jack.
"Sorry for the intrusion, Lady Ariann, after sensing Gabriel's arrival, I was asked to come and pick him up," said Jack, bowing down to Ariann completely ignoring Gabriel's existence.
"No, I don't mind… by the way, why didn't you use your phone, instead of coming here?" Inquired Ariann. From her expression; it was easy to deduce that she didn't like his interference.
Noticing her displeased expression, Jack couldn't help but sweat, having an issue with the future queen of their race, was not a good thing. "This incompetent servant is ready to bear any punishment!" He said taking a knee down.
"No… I don't plan on punishing you," said Ariann, looking at Gabriel for assistance.
"Don't mind my foolish friend your highness," said Gabriel, joining the role play. 'It would be fun, I can use this to tease her' he thought, giggling internally.
'This bastard, how dare he do this' Ariann thought, with a clenched fist.
"He has always failed to know his place… I plead that you do have mercy on his pitiful soul," continued Gabriel in a solemn tone. I have to say this, he's a good actor.
'This bastard, you'll be the cause of my death' thought Jack, praying to the progenitor of Vampires to save his poor soul.
"I forgive you… just leave!" Said Ariann, turning to leave in embarrassment.
"Remember your highness!... Don't go out without your guardian, and sleep tight!" Yelled Gabriel, waving her off while giggling.
'That bastard, I'll make him pay," thought Ariann, moving at the speed of sound.
"Ahem," Jack awkwardly cleared his throat, glaring at Gabriel. "What was that man?" He asked, sounding agitated. I understood him… using me to play lovey-dovey… not fair.
"I was just kidding around," replied Gabriel, giving Jack a wink.
"Look man, I know you are friends… but things have changed," Jack said in a worried tone, moving close to Gabriel he placed an arm on his shoulder. "I know you like her… but she's out of your reach," he continued, looking Gabriel in the eye.
"I know… no need to remind me," said Gabriel, in an infuriated tone. 'Why is this happening?' he thought, holding his head.
"What's the problem?" He asked, looking back at Jack. Due to everything that was going on, he forgot to ask why Jack was sent to call him.
"It's the ghouls, they are becoming more aggressive," replied Jack, sounding disgusted.
"Haa, how bad is it?" Inquired Gabriel, walking ahead of Jack. He seemed to be thinking of something.
"They seemed to have figured a way in… and if I'm not wrong, they are working with the Banished," he said in a dejected tone, looking toward the east.
The Banished, is a word used to describe Vampires, chased out of Nightingale. Throughout history, many Vampires have been chased out of Nightingale, forming new groups on Earth, or whatever space they could find.
"So is it to fight?" Gabriel asked, stopping to look back at Jack. He seemed to be hesitant about a battle.
"No… we just need to hold a meeting… with every guardian present," he said, moving ahead of Gabriel. "Let's see who gets there first!" He said out loud, increasing his speed.
"You asked for it, bastard!" Yelled Gabriel, following suit.

As Ariann entered her room, she kept on reviewing the day's activity, especially her time with Gabriel.
"Haa, don't know why I'm thinking of that," she said out loud, as she slumped on the sofa.
Imagining herself as Gabriel's girlfriend, she shook her head negatively, trying to shake the thought off.
'He's your friend… no, your guardian, you can have any guy in the world… but not Gabriel' Ariann thought as she stood up, taking a glance at her mirror.
'I think having a bath would wash away all my strange thoughts,' Ariann thought, walking into her bathroom.
The bathroom was at the end of her beautifully decorated room, directly opposite the entrance door. It had a completely transparent glass door, with the curtain preventing the eyes from seeing further.
Ariann had chosen this design for her room, when she was still a little girl, though her mom had requested she change the setting of the room, but she refused, saying; I won't.
Guess I'm going too deep into her childhood, sorry… but I can't help myself.
Walking into the bathroom, leaving the curtain wide open. She was not expecting anyone this night… and if she remembered correctly her room door was locked.
Putting on the shower, she got lost in her world, humming the tone of her favorite songs.
