Chapter 6:Initiation(Part 1)

"...Is that truly what you want?"

Samuel asked. Still unbelieving of what his disciple had asked of him.

"Yes."

"Do you understand what it entails?"

Samuel asked hoping that was not the case.

Elizabeth tilted her head as a slight blush formed on her cheeks. Proof that she was still a mortal, most cultivators were very quickly desensitized to all notions of sex as it was pretty much a part of everyday life. Even a recluse like him was no exception.

But as beautiful as she was it pulled on the heartstrings of the peanut gallery who were currently silent and had a low opinion of the fortunate mortal.

His hope that she did not know what she was talking about grew only to crash back down at her answer.

"I become a permanent sex toy to you by consuming a bit of your vital soul essence. I become fundamentally unable to cultivate without your blessing. I become completely reliant on you in all things related to my immortal path."

"Yes! And do you know how stifling that is to your growth?!"

Samuel asked a bit of heat in his voice.

Elizabeth calmly asked. Her hands folded underneath her full breasts.

"Are you going to stifle my growth?"

"Of course not! As a master, it is my duty to make sure you can soar as high as I can make you!"

His stance was clear but he also added.

"But I am not perfect and am prone to mistakes. Do you wish to suffer the consequences of those mistakes? What if a cultivator better than me appears? Do you wish to be stuck with me when you can have a better future? What if I am evil and turn into a plaything for my most depraved desires? Would you not want to have a say in it? I can do so without breaking your trust. You must realize this!"

Every sentence he uttered made Elizabeth smile more and more. By the end, she was beaming. That face was mesmerizing and innocent about that smile that ran counter to what she was trying to propose.

"Now I believe you should just turn me into your cauldron."

"Have you not heard a thing I said?"

Samuel asked genuinely concerned at his to be disciple.

"Yes. You have listed all the negative things that might happen. Can you list me the positives?"

Samuel's eyes narrowed but he obliged.

"You gain a portion of my power in the form of one of my breakthrough abilities. This will grow to gain new aspects to eventually become stronger than mine which can only grow in power. As a cauldron, you can never surpass me in cultivation stages but you will have a much easier time getting to my cultivation level."

Elizabeth nodded as if what he said is expected. Then blue her eyes turned very serious.

"Will you understand if I say I like you as a person and wish to stay close to you?"

"You barely even know. Regardless of how I turn out. Is it not right to at least know me as a person before we do something like this? That is the normal etiquette."

Elizabeth clasped her hands behind her back and looked at him taking a deep breath before exhaling it slowly.

"I do not think you are normal."

The audience who were all shocked to silence up till this point gasped. Saying something like this to a master was for sure a death sentence.

They were even more surprised at Samuel's answer.

"That is true."

Samuel did not deny it, for it was the truth. Lucia kept hammering that fact in. But he felt he did a decent job of hiding it. To be caught by the first mortal he wanted to take in as a disciple made him question it though.

"Well! I am not normal! And I want us abnormals to stick together!"

Common sense would call this horse shit but Samuel was anything but normal and he understood what Elizabeth was trying to say. But it was still not enough.

"But why is a binding such as a cauldron necessary? Can we not simply stay together as master and disciple."

It took a moment for Elizabeth to answer

Elizabeth had a very distant and soulful look as she said.

Elizabeth was conveying a lot of emotion through her body and her attractiveness only made this much more pronounced.

"I have a dream I wish to accomplish."

Even, Samuel felt the longing and melancholy in that statement and that was also without soul sight.

He kept his outward demeanor completely normal but inwardly he almost jumped at the sudden breakthrough. Feeling deeper emotions from a conversation was very new for him.

He did not care for her to explain her reasons at the moment, he was that elated.

He said barely able to keep the excitement out of his voice for which he got a curious head tilt from Elizabeth. But then she focused on his next words.

She had a deep smile when she heard next his words.

"I accept."
