Between The Dead

Humans are like cockroaches.



That's what Ren’s brother, Seth, started saying after the virus hit. He said, “No matter what happens, the human race will survive it. That's why we must live.”



She didn't know that meant he would abandon her to save himself. That's when she realized he was right.



Ren is a cockroach, because even after she was devoured by the dead, she is still breathing. And one day, she’s going to get her revenge - if he's still alive when she finds him.



Until then, she’s going to hide from the city's militia and get used to her new infected body. However after meeting another infected named Zero, Ren’s life goes from bad, to messed all the way up. The worst of it all, she discovers that something much more sinister is happening beyond that of the dead.
