The Dust Had Settled

Looking at the beheaded wooden puppet, the man wailed and sat on the ground, crying loudly.

"Boo hoo hoo… My puppet! My puppet!"

Old Madam Xue saw how upset her son was and the fury in her heart grew. "Bitch! How dare you make my son cry? I'll take your miserable life."

With one loud roar, Old Madam Xue lunged at Su Ying.

Su Ying drew out another light-beam saber from her sash and closed her eyes. She slowly swung the light-beam saber in her hand, and it gradually formed an impregnable barrier in the air, completely enveloping Su Ying with an invincible shield.

When she saw that, Old Madam Xue gave a sarcastic sneer. "Though you're not capable, you have a lot of tricks up your sleeve. Prepare to die!"

Suddenly, poison needles flew toward Su Ying from all directions in a dense web that left no gaps.
