12 - Determination for Freedom

Rasul was walking in the City as he was exploring to see and learn about their true past as unlike what the Empire had taught them.

As per the imperial propaganda, The Ellorans were born to be slaves as from the dawn of time they were lesser race of humanity with a single purpose. Do what the Arkurians say as this literally downgraded any value of Ellorans as in every nation Ellorans is treated badly.

There are only myths regarding the origins of Ellorans as it was deemed as to be lies or unimportant stories told by elders.

A fiction they said as the forest of Ellora was considered to be just a unimportant forest which lies inside the empires southern region.

As the City Of Xeroth was considered to be a pure myth or perhaps just like what people say about heaven as something where people go after their death as in afterlife.

Ellorans believed when they die they go to the city and be with their God. But who knew that the city exist so did the God.

The Empire did its best to stop the worship of Zacherius Diavolos by the Ellorans to the point any texts or arts related to the God was erased as if any Elloran is found praying, they are immediately persecuted without remorse.

This created a fear inside the hearts of Ellorans who realised keeping themselves alive is more important so everyone abandoned their faith.

Many found this as the reason as to why Ellorans cruel fate as they abandon their God so the God abandoned them.

But how did Arkur made Ellorans slaves to them? It is said that Arkurians found the forest thousand years ago where they were first introduced to the race of Ellorans.

Ellorans were more the peaceful side as they can wield any weapons thus rendering them as weak and fragile, easy to beat.

Rasul as he walked saw Zach appear beside him and wall beside him in the process as the chance he had he asked Zach "Why did you make us weak?"

Zach paused for a bit before answering "Weak?" He continued "Ellorans aren't weak."

Rasul stood still as he looked at Zach, but in a rather angry way "If we weren't weak, How come we are slaves for the past centuries."

"I do wonder that as well." Zach said in a nonchalant manner "I mean, I never made you weak Rasul. But rather it's you who have no realised your strength yet."

Rasul asked "How?.. How can I realise it? How can I use those strength you spoke off?"

"Hmm, Well well well Rasul." Zach said as he scratched his hair "By the time I was here, The City was under my protection so it's understandable how Ellorans didn't figure out how to use it."

Rasul was more or less confused with his words as he asked Zach "What do you mean?"

Zach answered while laughing "You'll see soon Rasul, Since I am here you will all soon see especially with that Determination for freedom."

Zach proceeded walk forward as Rasul stood their confused rather as he looked at his hands thinking whether he does have some secret strength.
