Chapter 302: Escape

"Uff, where do I start?" Vivi asked.

"Why don't we start with…why are you carrying that thing around?" Zoro pointed at the poneglyph.

"What is that?" Yonji asked.

"Is he dead?" Reiju looked over at Oven, who was lying on the ground without moving with two feet marks on the back of his head.

"No…I don't think so." Said her father before directing his eyes to Vivi, and the object she was carrying.

"Is that a poneglyph?, never seen a red one thought."

"Ah…why am I carrying this thing?. Well, you see….is a long story." Vivi answered.

"You lost the tools Robin gave you," Nami concluded.

"Okay, maybe is not that long," Vivi admitted.

"But there was something more urgent I had to say first."

They all heard a tremendously loud noise coming from the Chateau. A colossal figure came from the massive gap left on the wall.

"It's Momma!"

"Oh no!, she looks very upset!"

The members of her crew started to tremble.

"Right…as I was saying, I was being chased by Big Momma over there, so can we leave the explanations for later?" Vivi explained.

They did not need to be told twice.

Even Zoro, who would usually look forward to fights with powerful opponents, turned around and ran.

"So Sanji, did you enjoy your family time?" Vivi asked while they kicked away some fellows trying to stop them from leaving.

"No…" That was all Sanji said.

"That's too bad. I have only met your sister. She seems quite lovely." Vivi commented.

"You also meet me!" Yonji complained.

"Thank you." Reiju smiled.

"What is that rock?" She pointed up.

"Big Mom looks very desperate to get it back, so it must be very important."

"Is that why she is chasing us? just give it back before she kills us all!" Yonji shouted.

"Is that really a poneglyph?" Asked Judge.

"I don't think giving it back will be enough to appease her at this point, to be honest…" Vivi considered.

"Did you also insult her?, she has a very short temper. I hope you didn't talk about her weight problem." Reiju said.

"No…at least no to her face. I just…killed a few of her children, destroyed the giant wedding cake, and flooded her library. Oh, and I stole her poneglyph. But you guys already knew that one."

There was a long pause. And then, everyone seemed to react at the same time and started yelling at her.

"What the hell!"

"What's wrong with you?!"

"What were you thinking?!"

"She is going to kill us all!"

"You were only there for like an hour, how could you fuc-"

"Vivi!, you promised me not to fight that woman!" Nami exclaimed.

"And I didn't, I swear. I just ran away from her!" Vivi told Nami.

"And I didn't fucked anything up. I just went in there and got the thing, just like we planned."

"I don't think we planned this enough…" Franky lamented.

Nami glanced behind her. Over a hundred dangerous-looking individuals were chasing them, and towering over them was an enraged Big Mom wielding a massive sword.

"This was not what we planned at all!"

"I thought you guys came here for me…" Sanji glanced at Vivi with hurt in his eyes.

"But it looks like your first objective was to get that thing." They pointed at the red rock.

"Of cours not, Sanji. Getting you back was our first priority. The poneglyph was just a secondary thing. You were always the most important thing in our minds." Vivi said with a smile.

Sanji became a bit emotional.

"Oh…you guys…"

"By the way, I killed your fiance," Vivi said nonchalantly.

"What?!" Sanji shouted.

"Forgive me?" Vivi made a cute face.

"Why do you care? you didn't even know her." Reiju pointed out.

"I know but…she was going to be my wife and she looked so nice in the pictures." Sanji lamented.

"If it makes you feel any better, I heard her talk to her sister about how she was going to kill you," Vivi said.

"Was it going to be during the morning after our wedding night?, when I was sleeping, completely defenseless and satisfied?." Sanji asked.

"Nop…during the wedding."

"Oh… that's fine then." Sanji shrugged.

"Are you guys sure we are going in the right direction? I have the feeling we are going in circles." Reiju looked around.

They had entered that strange forest and continued to run with little thought.

After all, they were too worried about getting away from Big Mom to think about anything else.

"What do you mean?, we were following you." Vivi said.

"You were following her?, she doesn't know our ship is, and I was following you!" Nami huffed.

Vivi could not tell her that she became a bit distracted while staring at Sanjis sisters perfectly shaped butt.

"Sorry!"

"I was actually following him." She pointed at Franky.

"Oh really?. I was following them. I told them where our ship was and they said to know a shorter route there." Franky pointed at the three brothers.

"We did, but he looked very sure to know where he was going, so we just decided to follow him" Ichiji, Niji, and Yonji pointed at Zoro.

"Is this way," Zoro said with confidence while pointing the same way they had just come from.

"No is not, you idiot!" Nami shouted.

"So we are all lost then…" Vivi realized.
