Chapter 329: Reunion

Vivi opened the door of the warehouse.

The massive room was filled with people already. The place seemed to be very cramped.

"Vivi!" Nami jumped at her.

Vivi turned to glance at her.

"Where were you?, I couldn't locate your aura. I was starting to get worried."

"We were hiding inside the city until we spotted Sanji, Reiju, and Chopper running towards here," Nami explained.

"Hidden?" Vivi asked. It would take more than that to avoid her detection.

"They helped us out." Ace approached and pointed to two nearby individuals.

Vivi recognized the ninja called Hanzo whom they met at Zou but had never seen the other person. It was a round woman wearing some sort of pink ninja costume.

"I am Shinobu. And as you can see, I am a beautiful kunoichi!" 

Vivi stared at the other woman, she had a massive head and her body looked very out of shape for a supposed ninja.

"I see…" Vivi muttered. She did not know what else to say to her claims.

The kunoichi smiled.

"Just try not to fall in love with me." She gave Vivi a wink.

"Okay…" Vivi was at a loss.

"What are you wearing?" Nami asked while checking her tight-fit clothes.

"Technically, nothing. These are not clothes, I just transformed parts of my body to make them look like clothes." Vivi told her.

"So, you are naked?" Nami asked.

"Ahh!" Someone shouted.

"Oh no!, Sanji!. He is bleeding again." Chopper rushed to his side.

"Oi Vivi." Luffy came running.

"Where is my meat?"

"About that…" Vivi brought forward a giant hay sack.

"The only thing I found on my way here was a bakery."

"Cakes!" Luffy exclaimed with excitement while he helped himself to some sweets.

"He seems happy at least." Vivi shrugged.

"Hold on, Luffy!. Share something with me." Ace went to take a chocolate cake and Luffy pushed him away.

"No!, I'm too hungry to share." Luffy huffed.

"Don't be like that, I'm your eldest brother!." Ace complained.

"You would never guess they are not blood-related. When it comes to food, they are so similar." Vivi commented.

"They were raised together, that's probably why," Nami said.

"But Luffy is super happy. You should have seen his face when he noticed Ace."

"I'm sorry but I have to ask," Drake spoke up.

Vivi's eyes moved to him.

"So they let you stay after all…" She had already guessed her Captain was going to do that.

"What do you want to ask?"

"What happened with Kaidou?. " As soon as Drake mentioned that name, the entire room fell silent.

"Right, I almost forgot about that. Sanji told us that you were fighting Kaidou by yourself. What were you thinking?!" Nami smacked her shoulder.

"I was thinning on gaining some time so they could get away. It was not the moment to fight him for real. That is our Captain's job." Vivi explained.

"That's right!. I'm the one who is going to kick that guy's ass!" Luffy proclaimed.

"How strong is he?" Asked Zoro.

Everyone listened with interest. Even Luffy and Ace have stopped eating.

"Let's see…he can transform into a massive blue dragon. His scales are tougher than steel. He can fly extremely fast, control the weather, and throw laser beams out of his mouth."

"He can make lasers?, so cool!" Exclaimed Luffy.

"I can shoot lasers too!" Franky frowned.

"Yes but his are a lot more potent, trust me…" Vivi had a serious expression.

"So, he is a zoan user. That makes sense, they are called the 'Beast Pirates'..." Said Sanji.

"I think that he is even more dangerous in his human form. His skin is as tough as his scales. My ice spears were barely able to make superficial cuts. He also regenerates as fast as I do."

"What?, that's insane," Usopp exclaimed.

"That's not all…he is extremely fast and agile, despite his massive size. I had to put a lot of effort into dodging him."

"But the scariest part is his ridiculous strength…when he swings that metal club of his, you can hear the air breaking around it."

"That sounds terrifying…" Nami said.

"There is one more thing. He can also coat his weapon with some sort of deadly aura." Vivi tried to describe it the best she could.

"You mean armament haki?. I do that too with my swords." Zoro said.

"No…that was not armament haki, it felt a lot more deadly. It was able to destroy my ice like it was tofu."

"Conqueror haki…" Ace spoke up with a worried face.

"Huh?, you mean that thing I do?, that one makes people pass out," Luffy said.

"Yes, that one." Ace nodded.

"But Conqueror haki can be used in more ways than that one. My father told me about it. And even saw it in person when he used it."

"Whitebeard?" Nami asked.

"What else did he say?"

Ace looked thoughtful.

"Let's see…"
