Under his fiery gaze, Abigail cowered.

"Do you find it difficult to meet my demand for a baby? It has been two years, Christopher." 

He didn’t answer her question. All he did was stare at her, acting mute.

“Why do I feel like you don’t care about my feelings?” Abigail asked. “Don’t you love me?”

His silence was the clear answer.

Christopher's anger was fueled when he saw her. He wished he could make her a hostage and demand Oscar release Abigail. After all, the old guy couldn't bear the thought of his daughter suffering.

His inner voice warned him to be careful.

Oscar dared to kidnap Abigail despite knowing that his daughter was left behind. He undoubtedly knew that Christopher wouldn't do anything to hurt Vivian or risk Abigail's life.

Furthermore, Vivian was innocent. She had no knowledge of her father's plan to kidnap Abigail.

Thinking like this, he tried to calm himself. But his insides were on fire with wrath. He just wanted Abigail back. After that, he would punish Oscar.

He turned around and stormed away, calling Benjamin.

"Tell the security team to track the location of the phone call I received just now," he commanded the moment Benjamin answered the call. "Inform the cops and gather a team for the search operation. I want Abigail home by the end of the day."
