Under his fiery gaze, Abigail cowered.

"Do you find it difficult to meet my demand for a baby? It has been two years, Christopher." 

He didn’t answer her question. All he did was stare at her, acting mute.

“Why do I feel like you don’t care about my feelings?” Abigail asked. “Don’t you love me?”

His silence was the clear answer.

"Who is this friend?" Abigail asked.

As Christopher said this name, Abigail's curiosity got the best of her. Her brow furrowed at the mere mention of his name.

Abigail had heard many things about him and had seen him once at her wedding. She knew Christopher and Alexander had been good friends since high school, but she hadn't had the chance to get to know him well.

However, she was grateful to learn that Alexander was extending his help to Christopher in this challenging time.

A question burned in her mind, and she couldn't resist asking, "Why are we heading to Malacca? Couldn't he have sent the jet here to Kuala Lumpur?"

Christopher's expression softened as he understood her curiosity. He let out a sigh and explained, "As I mentioned earlier, we had to change our plan unexpectedly. But trust me, there is no need to worry. We'll be safe once we get to Malacca."
