Under his fiery gaze, Abigail cowered.

"Do you find it difficult to meet my demand for a baby? It has been two years, Christopher." 

He didn’t answer her question. All he did was stare at her, acting mute.

“Why do I feel like you don’t care about my feelings?” Abigail asked. “Don’t you love me?”

His silence was the clear answer.

The Billionaire's Sick Wife

Abigail was overwhelmed by the warm welcome she received from the employees, her emotions welling up as she dearly missed her father. The employees' respect and openness moved her deeply, and she imagined her father's pride if he were there to witness it.

Mr. Miller, the middle-aged man who had escorted her to the office, guided her to the conference hall, where the higher executives awaited her. As Abigail shook hands with them, she expressed her gratitude for their hard work.

"Without your hard work, the business couldn't run smoothly," she said. "I am grateful to you. I hope you will continue to work with the same zest and assist me in running the business."

Her genuine gratitude touched the hearts of everyone there, who were relieved to see that their new leader was not snobbish or aloof like some daughters of wealthy families. They promised to work harder and vowed their continuous dedication and support.
