A mysterious man

Abigail entered the bedroom and noticed Christopher come out of the bathroom, freshly showered, wrapping a white towel around his waist. The atmosphere suddenly charged. She remembered the hot kiss they had shared a while ago, the heat spreading across her cheeks. But she tried to ignore those sensations.

"Your clothes." With a stoic expression, she handed him the bag.

Christopher noticed her frosty demeanor and decided to test her boundaries. He wrapped his arms around her waist, attempting to initiate an embrace. "Thank you for loving me so much." He smiled.

However, Abigail quickly broke free, her movements sharp and decisive. "I only did my duty," she said with a blank face.

"Uh?" He raised an eyebrow, intrigued by her response.

"I haven't forgiven you; remember that." She turned to leave, then halted and looked back over her shoulder at him. "If you keep making the same mistakes, I'll stop doing my duties as your wife."
