“What do you mean?” Christopher clasped her arm. “Stop talking nonsense and eat the medicine,” he hissed, placing a tablet in her palm.

Under his fiery gaze, Abigail cowered.

"Do you find it difficult to meet my demand for a baby? It has been two years, Christopher." 

He didn’t answer her question. All he did was stare at her, acting mute.

“Why do I feel like you don’t care about my feelings?” Abigail asked. “Don’t you love me?”

His silence was the clear answer.

"Christopher?" Jasper was expecting Abigail to answer the phone, but he was surprised to hear Christopher's voice.

Christopher's anger was evident as he continued, his words sharp and laced with a volatile mix of emotions. "Listen up, man… Don't keep calling her. Stay away from her. Aren't you ashamed of trying to woo a married woman?" Christopher was so angry that he wanted to beat Jasper. His rage was boiling over.

"Christopher, I have something important to tell you. Listen to me carefully."

"I don't need to listen to you," Christopher cut him short.

His anger flared even brighter as Jasper attempted to explain himself. The urgency in Jasper's tone did little to quell Christopher's mounting fury. His patience had worn thin, his jealousy and protectiveness overriding any willingness to listen.

"This is my last warning to you. Stop calling her."
