Christopher returned home.

Abigail couldn't stand not knowing what was happening. She threw off her covers and paced back and forth across her room, her nerves stretched taut like a bowstring. As the minutes ticked by, the silence grew heavier, and it became almost unbearable.

Finally, after what felt like hours, her phone rang again. Abigail snatched it up, her heart leaping with anticipation. It was Mr. Miller.

"Everything is under control, Madam," he said, his voice firm and confident. "They have arrived at the hospital safely. You can relax now."

Abigail exhaled a sigh of relief so deep that it seemed to come from the very depths of her soul. She closed her eyes, letting the weight of her worry slowly slide off her shoulders. Thank God. Thank God everything was okay.
