Under his fiery gaze, Abigail cowered.

"Do you find it difficult to meet my demand for a baby? It has been two years, Christopher." 

He didn’t answer her question. All he did was stare at her, acting mute.

“Why do I feel like you don’t care about my feelings?” Abigail asked. “Don’t you love me?”

His silence was the clear answer.

Abigail's face twisted in pain as she heard Christopher's words, her shoulders sagging under the weight of his accusations. She knew he was right and that she had acted rashly, but she couldn't help but feel a sense of desperation when she thought about Elsa and Jasper in danger.

"I know I made a hasty decision," Abigail said, her voice trembling. "I shouldn't have gone there. I am sorry."

But Christopher was unmoved by her apology. He shook his head, his jaw clenched in frustration. "No, Abigail. I won't accept your apology—not so easily. You should think about what you have done and how bad the consequences could be."
