“What do you mean?” Christopher clasped her arm. “Stop talking nonsense and eat the medicine,” he hissed, placing a tablet in her palm.

Under his fiery gaze, Abigail cowered.

"Do you find it difficult to meet my demand for a baby? It has been two years, Christopher." 

He didn’t answer her question. All he did was stare at her, acting mute.

“Why do I feel like you don’t care about my feelings?” Abigail asked. “Don’t you love me?”

His silence was the clear answer.

The Billionaire's Sick Wife

As soon as they landed in Singapore, Jasper received a call from Sebastian, which prompted him to quickly send Ella to his villa before rushing off to meet him. Ella watched Jasper's departure with curiosity, wondering why he had left in such a hurry. She had no idea who had called him or what could have caused such urgency.

"Is everything okay with him?" Ella wondered. She was worried about him.

She let out a sigh as she turned her attention to the untidy hall. Ella decided to tidy up the living room, starting with the piled-up newspapers on the coffee table. She carefully gathered them and placed them on the shelf, but a few papers slipped from her grasp and fell to the ground.

"Oh…" As she bent down to pick them up, Ella's eyes landed on a photograph that had been printed on one of the papers. Her heart skipped a beat as she realized that it was a picture of her. She couldn't believe it. Why would someone print her photo in the newspaper?
