“What do you mean?” Christopher clasped her arm. “Stop talking nonsense and eat the medicine,” he hissed, placing a tablet in her palm.

Under his fiery gaze, Abigail cowered.

"Do you find it difficult to meet my demand for a baby? It has been two years, Christopher." 

He didn’t answer her question. All he did was stare at her, acting mute.

“Why do I feel like you don’t care about my feelings?” Abigail asked. “Don’t you love me?”

His silence was the clear answer.

The Billionaire's Sick Wife

The early morning sun cast a soft glow as Jasper dashed off to an important meeting. Even the caretaker had ventured out for errands, leaving the villa quiet and deserted.

Seizing the opportunity, Ella contemplated a quick trip to retrieve her belongings stashed away secretly in a private locker. Determined, she slipped out of the villa, hoping to come back before the caretaker's return.

Arriving at her destination, she swiftly collected some cash and a drawing tablet. She had kept these items hidden away from Sophia and Sharon's prying eyes, but now that she was free from their scrutiny, she could finally bring them out into the open. Feeling a sense of liberation, Ella hastily exited the locker room.

As she searched for a taxi, a familiar car pulled up alongside her. Ella recognized the vehicle immediately, and her stomach twisted in annoyance as she saw Sophia step out of the driver's seat.
