Under his fiery gaze, Abigail cowered.

"Do you find it difficult to meet my demand for a baby? It has been two years, Christopher." 

He didn’t answer her question. All he did was stare at her, acting mute.

“Why do I feel like you don’t care about my feelings?” Abigail asked. “Don’t you love me?”

His silence was the clear answer.

Ella's disappointment in Jasper dissipated as she comprehended the reason behind the fight. She felt a pang of guilt for jumping to conclusions before learning the entire truth. It was obvious that Jasper's motivation was to defend his sister. Any man would have done that if he found out that someone had been playing with his sister's feelings.

Ella admired his devotion and protectiveness toward his family.

"I am sorry. I didn't know." She expressed her regret sincerely. "I think you should talk to Elsa. Explain the situation to her. She might misunderstand you otherwise."

"I know. I will talk to her," Jasper assured. He took her hands in his and smiled. "Thank you for being here for me."
