The Lyttleton Mansion, a huge glass mansion located on a Island in Western Europe where couples who have been arranged by their families are sent together, for the purpose of 'bonding'.
The Lyttleton Mansion was first owned to an arranged couple in the mid 19s. The Frederick family (Husband's family) and the Lyttleton family (Wife's family). The mansion was gifted to them by Lady Ann Frederick, Joseph's grandmother to lived there with his arranged wife. The mansion was supposedly an apology gift for forcing them to get married.
Joseph Frederick and his wife Marybeth Lyttleton were both from a prestigious family. After they got married against their will, the lived in a certain mansion in London, England.
They lived in absolute dislike for each other day upon day. Around the time, couples who were arranged together and don't like each other would just try to kill each other or irritate their partners to divorce. To prevent this from happening, Joseph's grandmother gave him and his wife her private mansion and they were forced to work together whether they like it or not, which later led to a peaceful coexistence among the two.
Killings between arranged couples became so frequent and common at the time, that it became a normal thing and no one cared anymore. Mary was disgusted by this, she wished that those couples could just come into an agreement and learn to love one another like her husband and her.
Mary then set up a plan, she went into the city, partnered with a lot of businesses and families and reached a conclusion. Since she was rich and there were a lot of rooms to spare, she proposed that every arranged couple that seems like they are likable to kill each other be sent to her mansion to be taught the concept of love.
It was not until the late 19s that the mansion became popularly known that they included the use of special invitations to the island and those who came there would have to use their money and not the money of the Frederick family to live there. Joseph passed away shortly after and Mary became the sole owner of the mansion. She gave the inheritance of the mansion to her last grandson. Before her death in the early 20s she gave the mansion a name, and that's 'The Lyttleton Mansion'.
"And that, respectable guests, is the origin of this councellship mansion. Now, so, do you all understand what we'll be doing here during your one week stay?" Kurt, the junior butler, explained to all of them
There was a total of four couples who were there. The first couple, Sherman and cherry, were Black. They were an arranged couple who came to Europe all the way from St. Augustine. The second couple, April and Adrien, were white. They came from the two most prestigious families in Canada. They hate each other on a scale of infinite out of ten. The third couple, August and Stephanie, were also white. They proposed to their families themselves that they should get married. The reason why they're there, is unknown.
And lastly, the fourth couple, a godforsaken combination of a refined handsome gentleman who just wants to make the best out of his free time from work and enjoy his vacation and a wholesome bitch, whom nobody could stand. The five minutes she had spent on the island has been nothing but complaints about how the mansion looked like from the distance, how the other couples smells like and other annoying rantings.
"I don't understand why I have to be here! I'm supposed to be at the spa with my girls tonight but I'm here, standing in the midst of smelling people" Cassandra ranted. Her Fiancee looked so embarrassed by her behavior. Kurt could understand exactly how he felt.
He stepped forward to address her and maybe talk her out of insulting everyone.
"Ma'am, these people smell nice. Maybe you should check what you smell like"
What Kurt said made everyone burst out laughing. Even her fiancee was having a hard time suppressing his laughter.
"How dare you talk to me in such a manner, you wretched male servant!" She shouted at him
"You have no right to call me that" Kurt said with a straight face
"What are you gonna do? Sue me?" she said with a sassy face
"Actually, yes. It is written in the rules of the Mansion which your families are well aware of. If you give the staffs a hard time doing their work, the Mansion will sue you and you will also pay a hefty fine if you try to leave, which I'm sure if your father heard about, he might as well just sell your ass to us than pay the money. Talkless of how much they paid to get you in here in the first place" Kurt looked at Cassandra's stupified face and smiled in satisfaction
"Miss, please know your place. You've been here too many times already" Kurt looked at her fiancee and saw him giving a thumbs up to him (Kurt).
"Yeah, and I'm sick of it!"
Kurt turned around and continued with the welcome ritual. "Let us proceed" Kurt said and the all began to follow him inside.
"During your one week stay in the Mansion, you are not allowed to use your phone or even try to contact anyone beyond the Island. Every 6 o'clock, there would be a twenty minutes long cinema. After a half hour, we'll all gather in the living room and engage in soothing conversations, over some wine"
"Does this include you too?" Someone asked
"No! I'll just be standing nearby if you need anything. But, one of the senior butlers could possibly be a part of your conversations. Last but not least, we must all agree to nonviolence. Can you all do that?"
They have now approached the entrance of the Mansion. Standing in front of the huge white gate he asked them. "Yes" They all answered
"Ladies and gentlemen" Kurt pushed the gate open "Welcome to 'The Lyttleton Mansion'" he led them inside
They were all dumbfounded at the view inside. There were white paths with black polka dots that led to different parts of the mansion. One path led to the golf course, another led to the garden, another led to the lake. Another path also let to a weird looking merry-go-round. All the paths connected and led to the noticable white Mansion standing in the middle of green grass. The Mansion truly lived up to it's reputation. It was giant, with several floors like a five star hotel.
Kurt led them all inside the Mansion. They were again, shocked. The interior design was to die for. There were Porcelain statues of half naked men placed at every corner and every door in the Mansion to the end of the hallway.
The ground was decorated with green rugs making it look like a beautiful Disney garden. There was an inscription at the entrance 'Lady Ann Frederick'.
Kurt led them into the living room where goose fountain could firstly be seen. Apart for the majestic goose fountain that was int he middle of the living room, it looked like a pretty normal living room. There were sofas for lounging, green rugs, a home theater, a huge flat screen TV hung on the wall and stools
"Please have a sit everyone!" Kurt told them, and they all sat down on the sofas, respectively.
"Thank you! I've been your guide for the past twenty minutes as you all know, but that doesn't mean I'll be the one to take care of you for your entire stay here, I'm just a junior butler. A jar would be presented to you now"
Another butler came in with a white jar on a tray.
"You are expected to reach into the jar and pick a paper, you can only pick one. The paper you pick has a name on it and that name is the name of the butler that would be serving you during your stay here" Kurt finished his sentence.
The other butler went around to the couples as each of them chose a paper. Two more butlers came into the room and stood with Kurt. When it reached Cassandra's turn, her fiancee wanted to pick the paper but she slapped his hand away
"I want to pick it" She told him
"Why can't I pick it?" he asked her
"You have no luck in picking things" she reached inside the jar and took the paper
"That's true as I ended up with you"
"Burn" Sherman gave Cherry a high five
"Please call out the names on the paper. Your personal butler will lead you to your room. P.S, you'll be a bed sharing with your partner. No complaints! It's how it's always been"
"Toddothy" August called out and the butler that was with the jar took them away
"Rachel" Cherry called out. A tiny man stepped out and stood in front of them.
"You're a guy called Rachel?"
"Yeah! You got a problem with that!" Rachel replied
"Of course not, Rachel" She stood up from the sofa and Rachel led them away
"Kyle" April called out. The most fitted of the butlers went to them and April was giving him the eyes
"Please, come with me" he went away
"How charming!" Adrian said, sarcastically, and they quickly followed him
"That leaves you with me". He stood in front of Cassandra and his fiancee. Cassandra stood up and stormed off.
"Young sir, I didn't quite get your name" Kurt smiled, weakly
"It's Danny, Danny Alexander" Danny towered over him. His shirt was having a hard time hiding those abs and biceps. Kurt could almost see his nipples, almost.
"Please come with me, Mr. Alexander" Kurt hurried away. Danny smiled at his reaction and followed him with his hands in his pant' pocket.
Kurt caught up to Cassandra who wasn't that far from them. He led them upstairs to another hall with half naked statues. There, he took them to a bedroom with two beds. Cassandra looked quite surprised at this.
"Why don't we get a single bed like the others?" Cassandra asked as she looked around the room
"If you want to share a bed, then I'll have one taken away" Kurt tried to excuse himself but that just made him bump into Danny's chest
"S-sorry!" Kurt stepped back
"That would not be necessary. I will not share a bed with her. I'd like to get another room even"
"Idiot! Do you think I even wanted to come here with you?" Cassandra challenged him
