Chapter Fifty

I can hear him walking outside, talking outside. After I woke up I found myself in bed again. The needles stick inside me. Now I have nothing but feel empty or cry. My fingers continuously wiped the tears that came after another. The cold wind coming inside from the glass door that opens for fresh air makes me worried about him coming inside.

“You’re faint during the conversation. You need to eat.” Last time when the nurse came with food I refused to eat.

“Give me that.” Here he came again. Again the coldness came with him. Now I’m feeling colder. She left and left me alone. When he set the plate aside I dragged myself a little way.

“Now you’re scared of me.”

“Don’t know what’s your next move.” Without even caring, he pulled me up hard and set the plate in my lap for eating.

“Ouch! The needle hurt me.” The marks also hurt me whenever it came into view.

“Not more than you hurt me. One truth will spare you.” When he turns...into the devil?
