I arrived home to see Alex's entourage sitting inside the cars, so I guessed Alex was in. I put up a smile and went in not minding my soaking wet clothes.
"Alex!" I called once I was in and he got up from where he was sitting. He had an annoyed and mad expression.
"Where were you?" He asked "And why weren't you picking my calls? Don't you know it's dangerous?" He interrogated and I felt confused.
I understood that he was worried but it sounded more than that. It was like he had forgotten that the girl he was talking to was literally a former kick-ass underground fighter.
If he was worried because of the rain, I'd understand but talking about dangerous? It's like he didn't even know me anymore. I sighed.
