Oscar
Everything that happened could be pointed out as my fault. I failed to keep Brenda under control and as a result, all this happened.
I couldn't imagine the pain Tasha must have felt. I knew it was devastating but, I was in no position to console her. I was ashamed.
I met Nathan at the hallway of the hospital and hastily approached him.
"Is she awake?" I asked and he nodded.
"She's with Alex!" He said and I could only imagine what she was doing.
I brushed past Nathan's shoulder but he held me back.
"Boss," he shook his head. "... she's, not good!" He let go and I quickly went to find her.
I got to Alex's ward and there I stood, watching Tasha as she cried bitterly. My heart wept alongside. It was too heartbreaking to see her in that condition.
So that was what Nathan meant when he said she wasn't good. She clutched on to the bedsheets with a disheveled hair. That once bright and shiny orange hair now looked so dark that I could hardly recognize it.
