The woman called my boss and told him my family had suffered a death, and I needed to go out of town for the weekend. My co-workers offered me condolences, but I prefer not to lose a crazy uncle that I had never met and didn’t exist.

Nate pulled up to a cabin, and we grabbed our bags out of the back seat. I walked up and stared at it. They had a wooden cabin out in the middle of nowhere, and that wasn’t creepy at all.
