We all headed to the beach house in Myrtle Beach for spring break. It is, by far, my favorite place to visit when we traveled somewhere.

We arrived and got settled. I was finishing up when two arms snaked around me. Major nuzzled my neck as I giggled. /"Can I help you?/"

/"Nope, I’m enjoying my girl. Now, shh, let me have my moment./"

I giggled as Major snuggled me. It’s weird. Ever since he moved in, he was more affectionate with me. I didn’t mind, though. I loved it when he was.

/"Are you going to stand here, or are we going to eat?/" Larkin asked.

We turned to her as she stood with crossed arms.

/"Lark, it’s only food,/" Major said.

She gave him a look. Oh, shit. Rule number one: never tell Larkin it’s only food.

/"I’m sure I didn’t hear you say that,/" she said.
