I needed space from them and everyone else. So, I walked to clear my head. I wandered around until coming to a park next to the water. The same park my dad told me I would go to many times.

I walked as the water had a calming effect on me. I saw families and couples. Yet, at that moment, I felt alone. It’s like a piece of me was missing.
