I was getting my stuff together when I heard a knock at the door. I opened it to find Payton standing there, holding two Slurpees.

Payton took a deep breath, then said, /"I’m sorry. I know we have spent little time together, and I want to make it up to you./"

I took the Slurpee and waved him into the room. I closed the door. /"You’re forgiven. How’s Shaun?/" I asked him.

/"He’s getting there, but it’s going to be a slow process,/" Payton said as he set his drink down and walked over to me. He wrapped his arms around my waist as I looked at him. /"I don’t want you to think I would ever hurt you./"

/"Payton, you wouldn’t hurt me,/" I said. I pulled away from him and set my drink down. I sat down on my bed, and he joined me. /"You can’t even decide about me half the time,/" I mentioned as Payton rolled his eyes. I giggled as he leaned over and kissed me.
