The summer provided changes for everyone. Josie and I got closer while Park and Selena were going strong. Aunt Luna and Uncle Major moved back. Aunt Lakin and Aunt Mia went back home so Larissa could start senior year of high school.

We spent the rest of the summer with everyone hanging out together except for Britt. We asked where she was, and Pat was sketchy about it. I have a feeling when we found out; we wouldn’t be happy.

It was a chance to hang with my brothers during the summer until we went back to school. Pranks abounded, and someone was always getting their ass beat. Matthew even lightened up and wasn’t so severe. Family can have that effect on you.

It was a glorious summer, but like all good things, it must end.
