Chapter130

#Chapter130

Trust your gut

Casey

When you feel a vibration through your body, it’s your body warning you. You need to listen to it. When you trust people, you don’t know. You end up with more than you bargained for with them. I noticed this with Coop.

It didn’t help that Brandon called to find out the status with Cody and Coop. I told him that I was working on it. It’s not like I can say, oh, Coop seems smitten with someone else. Yeah, that would go over swell.

Larissa and I sat at the lunch table while Coop sat with Trent at another table. Even his name sounds like trout.

/"Don’t you think Trent sounds like trout?/" Larissa asked, making me snicker.

Great minds think alike.

/"Who names their kid Trent? I’m sure kids at school called him trout. Ooh, I caught a lake trout,/" Larissa said.

I chuckled. We went back and forth until a person slammed their hands on our tabletop. We saw Trout looking at us. Oops, I meant Trent.
