Chapter3

#Chapter3

The whole thing was driving her insane and she just couldn't understand what was happening, her marriage is merely going to two years old and this is already happening?

Her cell phone started ringing and she connected her Bluetooth, hoping it was Michael, /"Sasha dear where are you?/" Vanessa's voice filled the car and her spirit dampened, it wasn't her husband after all.

/"Hi mom, I'm on my way home/" she replied.

/"Can you drive down home and pick Chris?/"

/"What? I thought Michael said he would pick him in the morning?/"

/"I haven't seen Michael since last week honey. Jessica already left and Joseph wants me to accompany him to some dinner, I would have let him stay the night again but I don't when we will be back and I also don't want to leave him alone with the servants. So come pick him up okay/" the call went dead before Sasha could say anything and she ended up slamming her hand on the steering wheel.

Where could Michael be? Why didn't he pick Chris up in the morning like he said he would? And why is he not worried that she is not back yet?

She made a U turn and speed dial his number but all she heard was the machine voice, what the hell? Please God, let it not be what she is thinking, she just got together with him and their marriage is still on its early stage, let this not be happening, she prayed.

She stepped on her accelerator and sped to the Brown's villa, she arrived twenty minutes later and she was allowed pass immediately at the big gate. Speeding down the big property, the fountains, the statues, the flowers, she still found it hard to believe she is part of the family that owns such property.

She pulled over in front of the big house, a chauffeur approaching her immediately to help her park the car, /"welcome ma'am/" he greeted.

/"No need, I will be leaving immediately/" she said, walking past him, almost jogging to the front door. She let out a deep breath as she pushed open the gigantic door.

/"SURPRISE!/" she heard and gasped when she saw the big crowd in front of her, there were banners saying 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY SASHA' and balloons filled the floor like a carpet, she looked at the faces of everyone dear to her, her parents, Angelica and Nicholas, Vanessa and Joseph and there were also her friends and family, even Janet she left her house not up to an hour ago was also there with her children she made her watch and her husband.

Then she saw her son, the one who wants to take after both her and his father. His black hair was just like his father's and he also took his crystal blue eyes, but he took her nose and her smile. He was dressed like a little man in a shirt and jeans.

Someone whispered /"happy birthday my angel/" behind her and she melted, she will know that voice anywhere, she turned to him and smiled, drinking in his beauty in his white shirt and blue pants, he held a single white rose which he handed to her before kissing her softly on the lips, /"this was your top secret wasn't it?/"

He grinned, /"at least it made you forget today's date./"

Sasha chuckled, it did made her forget the date, she can't believe she forgot her own birthday simply because she was worrying about her husband attitude, /"you purposely said that yesterday didn't you?/"

/"You got me/" he chuckled.

Sasha turned to her friends who were now grinning from ear to ear, /"and you girls knew about this, yet you let me worry sick today./"

/"Come on, we couldn't ruin his surprise, he has been planning it since last month/" Agatha laughed.

/"You are not my friends anymore/" Sasha said.

/"No worries, Michael will gladly take us in, right Michael?/" Janet asked.

/"Of course/" he agreed.

Sasha rolled her eyes, /"lame/" she commented before walking forward and hugging Vanessa and her mom.

/"Happy birthday darling/" the two women said.

/"Thank you/" she replied before hugging Nicholas and Joseph who also wished her a happy birthday.

She turned to Jessica, a nineteen year old girl and Chris's baby sitter, her hair was chestnut brown and dropped down her face in short fringes while she packed the rest in a messy ponytail, /"I can't believe you hid this from me too./"

/"Michael said I'm not allowed to tell you and I understand what surprise is very well/" she grinned and Sasha rolled her eyes.

/"Happy birthday mistress/" Gary said too with a smile.

/"Thank you Gary/" she returned the smile.

Her friends' husbands also wished her happy birthdays before Janet wheeled out a twelve steps cake with thirty burning candles, /"it's time to make a wish girl, I can't wait to taste the cake./"

Everyone laughed and Sasha made a wish before blowing off the candles, everyone clapped and she turned to Michael and whispered, /"thank you for this, maybe I will reconsider what I said yesterday./"

/"Please do, you really punished me last night/" he whispered back.

Sasha giggled, /"how about we ditch the party and go finish what we started yesterday?/" She lured.

Michael looked at the faces of everyone who were busy talking and laughing as Janet sliced a piece of cake, /"I'm in./"

/"And what are they whispering about? You are better not thinking about ditching this party because no one is leaving here/" Agatha yelled to them, calling everyone's attention on them.

Michael sighed before whispering to Sasha, /"remind me why I don't like her big mouth, it's a surprise she didn't tell you about the party./"

/"I can hear you Michael and I'm not sorry I ruined your evening plans/" Agatha yelled while everyone laughed and Sasha giggled when Michael groaned.

Everywhere was filled with merriment and Sasha couldn't ask for anymore family and friends but what she didn't know was that on that same night, another friend of hers arrived on Los Angeles soil.
