#Chapter27
Sasha went to bed setting an alarm on her phone to wake her up by 1:45 am so that she could wait for Craig’s call by 2:00 and avoid waking Michael up with the phone’s ringtone as she could not afford to put the phone in silence. She ended up waking right before the alarm could wake her because she had a troubled sleep and was finding it difficult to go back to sleep.
As silently as she could, she removed Michael’s arm from her waist and climbed out of the bed. She picked up her phone and walked to the balcony. Michael always loves leaving the balcony’s doors open so she didn’t bother opening the doors. She stood with her hands on the railings as she gazed up at the night sky. The stars were twinkling brightly and the moon shining just as much. The night was peaceful but she was not, her soul was troubled and she wondered which day she would ever be relaxed again.
