Jasons POV

It’s been two days since the first note arrived and since then more of them have been delivered to our house.

I feel so powerless each and every time I see the notes because my mate’s life is in danger and I don't know who's trying to kill her... I put on a brave and confident front when I'm with her but the truth is I'm dying inside with fear of the unknown..

/"I think I might have an idea/" Shadow says.

/"I'm listening/" I say sighing.

/"We need to mark her!/" Shadow growls.. /"It’s the only way, in that way, we'll know where she is all the time and if she's in danger we'll sense it./" I can feel his desperation at keeping our mate safe through the bond.2

/"I don't think she's ready for that yet./" I say remembering how hard it was for her to open up and give our relationship a chance.

/"Snow is./" He says slowly.

/"How do you know that?/" I ask shocked..
