#Chapter3 Warming up

After what felt like hours of running but probably was no more than 10 minutes Kyungsoo had stopped shivering as much as before and when I glanced down I could see his hand having lost the grip on my shirt while his eyes were dazed only half opened, his skin even paler and his lips purple .

It made me furrow my eyebrows and breath out in panic when I tried to go faster as a little what looked like an old abandoned cabin appeared .

I had broken down the door when it didn't open and quickly closed it after me again even though the lock was now broken it still kept close and I instantly looked around to spot the small bed .

There wasn’t much Space because it really was just a Tiny little Cabin.

So I set him down onto the bed when he started shivering a little again just because I moved away to get off his soaked shoes and pants. His skin was almost as white as a paper

And I had to pause for a little when I noticed how thin his legs suddenly appeared to me .

I shrug it off when he shock stronger whimpering as he blinked tiredly at me probably to tell me indirect that I was taking too long when his hand balled to fist before unclenching again as if he was ready to reach out for me.

So I hurried removing my jacket and taking the soaked hoodie that was hanging off him, off..

but this sight was even worse than the one of his legs

I could in fact see his rips, too much for my liking, his arms looked thin and fragile even more when he continued to shiver like that..

H-he looked tiny .. too tiny and the baby bump stood out in contrast to how skinny the rest of his body was

The scars where still there but not as evident as they used to, still I couldn't care less about that now when I looked over his shoulders peaking out sharply from how less fat he had on him he was almost skin and bones

How did I not notice this ?

/"j-jong-gin /"he whined again almost falling back if I hadn't reached out for him to make him lean against me when he closed his eyes with a shaky exhale while I put the jacket back around him .

/"don't worry I got you /"

/"oh my god /"I cried out whipping over my forehead that was covered in sweat at the stress and anxiety .

I had moved Baekhyun to the couch and wrapped some bandages around the bleeding area around his navel.

His eyes were red and he was covered in sweat when I grabbed his hand looking at the bandage to check if the blood would soak through again like it did with the other before .

/"just hold on ok Hyunsik and Sehun should be back soon Hyunsik knows what to do /"

He only blinked tiredly at that swallowing thickly before he grunted again sending me off the edge .

I rose my other hand to his arm once again trying to take little of his pain but he just wouldn’t let me in, he wouldn't let me take it .

When I had woken up earlier to a cry and noises of things being thrown over or smashed, I thought we were attacked again so of course my heart almost came to a stop when I arrived and found Jongin standing before Baekhyun who was shielding Kyungsoo from him .

/"run /"Baekhyun ordered while Kyungsoo only looked at him with huge fearful eyes .

/"I said run !/"

Without a third order Kyungsoo had gotten to his feet and dashed out of the house.

I couldn't even reach them fast enough when Jongin suddenly yanked Baekhyun away throwing him into the glass table as it broke into tiny and big pieces .

I growled loudly shifting as I jumped down the rest of the stairs and into him but he was of course ready for it when his hand reached out and easily caught me by my throat forcing me to shift back before he threw me away as well, his eyes had a black colour it was disturbing to see him have that look in his eyes. It just wasn't him.

He picked Baekhyun up with shards still sticking out of him as he groaned when he was pressed against the wall..

Only when I screamed his name he suddenly returned to reality and in the end ran after Kyungsoo.

I knew it wasn't my alpha, it wasn’t Jongin who did this but I still couldn't be able to see his face at that moment so I sent him away.

And now, he's injured Baekhyun badly, My mate.. my, my Second chance mate.

The thought of losing another mate was horrible, he wouldn’t die right ?

He wouldn’t do that to me .

Getting Rejects is probably way better than losing him to Death, only to think afterwards of everything i could've done, how i had wasted the times we were together with holding back. I could’ve been so much closer to him could’ve done so many things for and with him .

I leaned closer not even caring at the Moment when i brushes his hair back and placed a soft kiss to his forehead

/"you wouldn’t do that to me/"

He didn’t respond to that and i ended up leaning my forehead against his, nothing compares to this terrible feeling, seeing him in pain and not letting me help, not being able to even help him ...

/"It's a nightmare

he suddenly squeezed my hand lightly

And I leaned back at that glancing at him to see his lips twitch a little to smile faintly at me..

And i Smiled back even if i couldn’t help the tears that were building in my eyes, I needed more time with him . Ì just wanted him to stay.. I wanted him to be fine ...

Then suddenly, the door Opened .

/"w-what ?/"I turned my head to see Hyunsik dropping the bags of groceries while Sehun rushed passed him as soon as he saw me being a total mess .

And as soon as I saw him I broke down in tears /"we need help! /"

He didn't say anything when he looked from me shocked to Baekhyun taking wheezed breaths still from where he laid on the couch .

/"Hyunsik /"he called but Hyunsik was just looking around before finally staring at us .

/"what happened !? Where's Kyungsoo!? /"he stumbled past the groceries ready to grab onto me and question me more but Sehun had successfully managed to hold him back when I opened my mouth

/"Jongin’s went after him /"

His eyes widened at that and he quickly slapped Sehun’s hands away rushing to get back out the door if it weren't for me to reach forward yanking him back around angrily to face me. /"Baekhyun’s dying ! I don't know anything of how to treat wounds or what to do ! You can't go after them !/"

He swallowed a few times frowning at me before back at Baekhyun. I've never really talked to him, no one has except for Sehun and Kyungsoo but I'm sure he knows the stories of Baekhyun Saving all of our asses and of course what he meant to all of us . He was a member of our pack now too I don't care if he's not even a wolf he's family now !

As if he could read my thoughts he stared into my eyes as his frown slowly faded and he gave in.

/"where's the aid kit ?/"

/"shh.. its ok /" i smoothened him when he started shaking again even after i gave him my Pullover and Jacket before covering him with the fluffy Blanket i could find in the wardrobe.

I also snuggled under the blankets with him, hoping it would make it warm up faster considering I'm a wolf and don't get cold easily, he had sighed in content when he cuddled closer to me allowing me to wrap my arms around his shivering form to bury him into my chest, he was as cold as ice.

My hand stroke over his evident spine almost being able to feel all the bones he had on his back.

It made me squeeze my eyes as I held him close pulling the blanket more over his shoulder.

/"i Love you ok ? ../"

I tried to Sleep with him when his Breath calmed and he stopped shivering but i couldn’t.. to many thought swirled around in my head.

Die he really run from me ? Was he scared of me ?

Did I almost hurt him ?

What was happening to me...
