Sapphire Nightborne

It has been 3 days since the funeral. The first day after was spent sleeping in the tent as the pyres continued to burn, the second was spent tearing down the tent and bringing the ashes to the mountains where the rest of their brothers and sisters were laid to rest. Their ashes were each buried with a new Black Pine sapling, the families of the fallen watered the young trees and sang lullabies of peace. Today, was the first day we returned to pack life.
