Chapter3

#Chapter3

Sephora looked around the sandy dunes to find a factory mill in the middle of nowhere. It was far from the city and hidden in plain sight. There were red carpets and many people despite the secrecy. Shadow opened her door continuing to be a gentleman. He extended his elbow for her to take.

She accepted as they walked up to the front of the entrance like movie stars. /"This is not what I pictured./" She admitted amazed. Shadow smiled at the front door attendant.

/"Aww Mr. Fox welcome back./" The doorman greeted. Shadow held his fist out.

/"Evening Mr. Black. This is my guest Foxy./" He wrapped his arms around Sephora’s waist as a means of affection. It came across way to intimate for her. The closeness of their bodies touched together causing the invisible spark to ignite between them. The doorman waved his hand to reveal a hidden tattoo of some sort on Shadow’s fist.

It had some Chinese like symbols on each finger. The door unlocked and opened as the symbols lit and began to subtle glow. /"Miss Foxy will have to be branded as well./" Shadow froze. The thought of the branding process on Sephora scared him.

/"She is not in the fights. She is only observing./" She wanted to object, but Shadow spoke firmly to her. She rolled her eyes at his ego taking over.

/"No one gets in without it whether fighting or not./"

Shadow hesitantly nodded his head so the doorman could brand Sephora’s hand. He pulled her closer as she handed the doorman her fist, staring her directly in the eyes.

/"Focus on me. The process might be a little overwhelming for first timers./" Shadow held her firmly close to him, as she laid her head underneath his shoulder. She was bracing herself for the pain, but couldn’t focus while so close to him. He smelled wonderful and sinful.

The hard rock of his body pressed against hers made her wet. It was hard for Shadow as her feminine curves pressed against his fit so right. His hand placed firmly on the dip of her back, representing possessiveness. The doorman, Mr. Black waved his fingers as if drawing the symbols in the air. The fire began to pierce her knuckles causing her to squeeze Shadow’s suit jacket. She groaned containing her screams as she winced. Shadow held her firm closing his eyes as he felt her pain.

He wanted Mr. Black to stop and they would just turn back, but she contained herself.

/"Why does it hurt so bad?/" She groaned through clenched teeth.

/"It is his G.E.M power. No powers are allowed inside only skills. Everything with us is overwhelming./" Shadow explained.

/"This not only brands your hand but your whole body. Your powers are suppressing under the brand which can be difficult if you have so much power inside of you. It only hurts for a few minutes./" Mr. Black explained.

She clenched her teeth and groaned again. Shadow offered his hand for her to squeeze and she accepted thankful.

/"Its over have a nice night./" Mr. Black smiled as the door to the elevator unlocked and opened.

Shadow continued to hold her hand walking inside. Sephora looked at the brand on her knuckles.

/"I get why they have to suppress our powers to prevent people from cheating or something right?/" She asked as the elevator went down.

/"Yes./" Shadow responded simply a little upset.

/"What’s wrong?/" She asked, glaring up at him.

/"I did not think you would have to since you are only a guest./" The door opened.

/"Its ok I wouldn’t mind fighting./" She began to walk off until Shadow stay still. She jerked, but his body wouldn’t budge.

/"Come on./" He pulled her to him. She fell in his arms as their bodies were close again.

/"You will not be fighting./" He commanded. Sephora frowned.

/"Excuse me the last time I checked I could do whatever I want./" She jerked away from him with little success.

/"Sephora I cannot take your pain. I will kill every last body breathing in this place if anyone lays a hand on you. Do not under estimate me./" He walked off, leaving her stunned, confused, and angry all at once. She didn’t understand the /"cannot take your pain/" part, but was damn angry about the telling her what to do part.

/"Who the hell do you think you are?/" She walked quickly after him. She paused as she was the huge arena in the middle of the place down below the surface. They were on the middle level very close to seeing the stage. The place wasn’t as big as she thought from the outside, but bigger than she imagined. The arena was floored nicely with silver flooring that shines bright once the lights hit the arena just right. She looked down amazed.

/"You get distracted so easily./" She turned to see Shadow behind her. She remembered she was angry at him.

/"What is your deal? I am not your property. You don’t own me. If I want to fight I will./" Shadow smirked.

/"You are very stubborn./" He was becoming hotter by her rebellion. She turned away from him looking for an entrance inside the arena area.

/"You have made your mind up to do this?/" Sephora ignored him, seeing the stairway. She pushed passed him, spitefully.

/"Watch me./" She replied walking away to the stairway.

Shadow turned his head to the man walking behind him. Without his powers he felt super on edge. His hearing was off, but he could still hear exceptionally better than most.

/"Mr. Fox!/"

He smiled and greeted the man with a hand clap together as men would do.

/"Mr. Wolf. Good to see your tooth intact./"

The man laughed. /"Barely. No thanks to you. It was one hell of a fight. I will certainly be ready tonight./"

Shadow’s eyebrows rose. /"Rematch? I was not aware I will have that honor of kicking your ass again./"

The guy held his finger up. /"Not again Mr. Fox. I assure you there will be bloodshed. Same ole rule?/"

Shadow looked over the balcony to see Sephora walking to the arena still. /"Same ole rule yes. I beat you I get info. You beat me…What is it that you wanted again?/"

Mr. Wolf smiled. /"My terms last time was you to get rid of someone for me, but that little deed has been handled. I will, however, take your girlfriend./" Shadow’s face instantly turned sour as he watched him staring at Sephora.

/"My apologies. She is not part of any of this./"

Mr. Wolf slapped Shadow’s arm playfully. /"If you win you have nothing to lose right? See you in the ring./"

Shadow watched the man walk off. Regret reared its ugly head as he turned back to Sephora. Every man was looking at her. Which angered him. He had never known to himself to be a jealous man, but the old saying goes /"you never truly know yourself until you are in love/". The mere thought frustrated him. He knew what he would have to do.

Sephora walked up to a nice looking gentleman in a black tuxedo. /"Now Missy what is a fine thang like you doing in a place like this?/"

/"I came with a friend. I want to enter into the fights./" The man looked baffled.

/"There are no women in this ring./"

Sephora crossed her arms. /"What you to afraid a woman might get up there and actually win?/"

The man laughed. /"No darling you don’t want to mess up that pretty face./"

/"Let her through Jack./" The man looked up at Shadow, crowding behind Sephora.

/"Mr. Fox welcome back. I look forward to your rematch with Mr. Wolf./"

Sephora turned back glancing at Shadow’s face, serious as a heart attack.

/"Likewise. I will be also aiding in Miss Foxy thirst for a fight before I fight Mr. Wolf if I may?/"

Sephora became even angrier. /"If you think you can win this by trying to humiliate me you have another thing coming./"

Shadow placed his hand on her shoulder. /"This ring is no place for someone rash and reckless as you are. You want to get hurt I will spank you./" He whispered in ear seductively, pulling off his suit jacket. As mad as she was her body was coming to life with excitement and anticipation. She began pulling off her heels.

/"Alright fine. Tell the announcer their up first./" Mr. Jack announced on a walkie talkie.

Shadow opened the door to enter the arena as the announcer announced his entrance.

/"We first saw him here a couple months ago and he became a crowd favorite. Here’s Mr. Fox./"

Shadow entered as the crowd began to cheer and clap. He saw Mr. Wolf on the sidelines up close and personal to see his opponent before his match with him. He had to win because he wouldn’t be able to stand by and watch him take Sephora in anyway. Mr. Wolf’s face held a grin as he found their little lovers spat interesting. Shadow held such respect for the man and didn’t want to kill him, but no matter how much he respected him, he wouldn’t hesitate.

/"And what is this? A beautiful flower Miss Foxy and Mr. Fox having trouble in paradise? This ought to be quite a show folks!/"

Sephora walked up, confident and focused. Regardless of the lights and all eyes on her, she stayed focused on Shadow. Her target. She was grateful for the split in her dress as she inched her leg out for better movement. Shadow rolled his sleeves.

/"Do not think I will take it easy on you./" He said, calmly.

/"I would never ask that!/" She replied with a smile.

/"Fight!/"
