Jason and Janet stared up at the sign on the outside of the building before they walked in. /"I’m a little nervous./" Janet admitted.

Jason laughed softly. /"You are afraid of everything./"

Janet frowned. /"You know you’re scared too. Don’t try and act brave when you know you’re about to shit your pants just like me./"

Jason chuckled again, knowing she was right. They were about to meet the voodoo princess who cursed them for life. Whether they were angry with her or not, it was terrifying to meet the boogey woman even Dan was afraid of.

The sign flickered as the wind picked up, causing them to shiver. /"Should we just turn back?/" Jason asked, seeing Janet hug herself from the cold. She shook her head.

/"We need to know for sure if Alyssa is the one for you and if there is hope for me./"

Jason nodded with a small smile. /"There is someone out there for you. There is hope for you regardless of what she says./"
