The lobby was becoming cold and dreary inside the Sanders building while Janet paced back and forth with one officer watching her. The one officer she had her eyes on the whole time. She wished like hell it was someone else watching her instead of this man’s eyes all over her.

/"Can you sit down you are making me nervous./" He joked. She turned around not wanting his velvety voice to smooth over her body like it did. She hugged herself not wanting to think about Officer Williamson, only her brother. He walked up to her by the window. She wanted to curse, but kept her composure.

/"Jason is a pretty brave man I’m sure he found Alyssa and will be home./" He said, touching her shoulder causing her to jump as the connection pierced her core. She moved away from him. /"I’m sorry, did I do something wrong?/"

She didn’t reply. /"I’m just waiting for my brother./" She said. /"You don’t need to get so close to me./"
