Mending Her Heart

I heard my cellphone ringing and tried to sit up but a weight on my chest made me turn my head. Madeline was sleeping soundly; her head was resting on my chest while her one arm was draped over my abdomen.

My cellphone stopped ringing and I keep staring at angel sleeping beside me. I kissed her forehead and removed her hand from my abdomen then slowly I moved back letting her head fell back on the pillows.

She snuggled up in the pillows and I sighed thinking how cute she was looking while asleep. I got up from the bed and found my boxers lying on the floor at the end of the bed. Picking my boxers I put them on and took out my cellphone from my pants pocket.

I checked the cellphone and found three missed calls from Matt. I left the room and went outside in the living room then dialed Matt number and waited for him to pick up my call.
