I noticed that Sebastian's hands were clenched into fists, his knuckled completely white.
/"He hurt you?/" Sebastian practically hissed.
I lowered my head in shame.
/"Look at me, mi cara./" He murmured and I slowly lifted my head to meet his gaze.
His eyes were soft and swimming with pain. Pain he felt for me.
/"Why didn't you do something? Why didn't you leave?/" His voice was calmer but I could still detect a hint of anger.
For a moment I didn't answer. A part of me didn't want to answer because I was so ashamed. Maybe because I'd lost respect for myself for how low I'd had to stoop or maybe because I feared that my answer would make him lose respect for me.
But all these secrets had been weighing me down for so long. I was so tired of hiding. So I told him the truth.
