The group is up early and ready to start their adventure. The camp is a hive of activity as Piet does last minutes checks, the clients check and recheck that they have enough film, Veronica watches from the fringe of the group as Cedric plays his part very well, and acts as excited as the young women that gather around Piet.

Earlier that morning she had managed to get Piet alone, which was a considerable achievement on her part, considering the competition and informed him about her suspicions regarding Mr. Thompson, as well as the warning that had been delivered to her last night.

For the time being, she keeps the presence of the creature from him, as she intended to remain behind in camp with Peggy and use that opportunity to contact Ben.
