Chapter29

#Chapter29

Night steals in, robbing the earth of daylight, and with it the storm clouds gather on the horizon, massing together for a frontal attack, full of force and fury. The wind picks up strength as it moves before the storm, the sky darkening and lightning flashing down and illuminating the ground, the Thunder sending out its throbbing warning of Mother Nature on the prowl.

Fear settles down like a cloak over the people of the Congo Basin, for the night has come, and with it, the Leopard Men stalk, and only they know who the next victim is.

The wind whips through the tops of the forest, mighty forest giants bow to its force, as the rain lashes the ground, and hail falls in an avalanche, thundering down onto the ground, and the screams of the man fall on deaf ears. There is no one to hear him, except the ones who weld the claws that tear into his body, ripping it apart.
