/"Pup, go shift/" dad orders, I groan again, we're all going on a run, I didn't want to shift or run, I haven't shifted since the day Gabrielle, aka the bitch, Arlo taught me that word, it means a female dog, got inside our lives.

/"N...nuu...nu wanna...g...ggo, I sleepy/" I lie, I didn't need a nap, but I was pretending, hiding in momma's arms hoping she'd just put me down for a nap, I was feeling really emotional today, my wolf wanted to shift but I didn't want to.

/"Now Eden, don't make me force you/" dad warns, I cry into momma's chest this time, she taps my back lightly, before starting to undress me, I didn't want to shift or go on a run, why won't they leave me alone.

/"Momma...I...I st..st...stay back/" I tell her, my damn stutter was back.
