-Failing.

Scar POV.

One thing lords love, it's a new chance to ruin someone's life, but Lucifer was smart, he wouldn't allow all of us to go to earth at the same time, we'd ruin it, and hell would be literal hell with none of us to keep our family in line.

The first one that went, he was pulled back to hell in less than a week, they thought Lucifer threats about not being allowed to tell them we are demons or forcing them to come with us were all a joke. If Lucifer decided to be nice for once, doesn't mean he's playing games with us, his rules are to be respected, and they knew it well, or at least they were reminded of that now.

The next lord to go, he didn't succeed, he came back in one month only, he gave up, he said he couldn't get a pet to love him, they feared him, his aura was enough, he didn't even have to share what he really is.

And so the demons started to go and check in on earth, three hundred and sixty-five days, it's a long time, a full year to get someone to fall for you, but not everyone knew how to do it, how do you make someone fall for you? It's almost impossible, for demons who never learned how to love, the ones who are used to be feared, it's almost impossible to get someone to love us. I saw them come and go, I saw them failing in getting anyone to love them, but I sat back, I watched them, I took notes.

You can't show your real self, they'll want to know what we are, you can't scare them, you'll never have a chance with them, you can't buy them from the auction house, that would get you an ass beating by Lucifer, you can't trick the king of hell.

I was sitting in my quarter in the castle, I live here most of the day, but I'll check on my demons all the time, I'm not that friendly with the other demons, I hardly have any friends here, there's a reason to why none of us are friends, but those are reasons for another day, things I don't want to remember or think about now or not ever.

/"Hey, Scar, you heard about Ebony getting her own little/" one of my family demons asks, he's my right hand and the only one I tolerate to talk too, Arlo is a good demon, I'm trying to shield him, to get him to grow up and be a strong leader to take my place once he's ready.

/"Ebony is a good leader, how did she get the pet?/" I ask him actually curious to how she did it, she's a crazy demon, but a good one nonetheless.

/"She tricked her of course, met her in a club, the pet is into the same things as Ebony, she thought she was human until she fell in love and now they are both in hell/" Arlo explains, she's the first one to actually succeed in getting a little, a pet, and getting them down here with us, she did the impossible.

/"When are you going to do it?/" Arlo asks, he knew I wanted to pet, I wanted a little, I craved that since the day Nova came into the life of the king.

/"Soon, I need a plan,/" I say, I knew I couldn't just walk in and get someone to fall for me.

/"A club?/" he asks, but I shake my head no, it wasn't me, and with me, I needed a better plan, a much better one.

/"Then what are you going to do?/" Arlo asks again.

/"I'm going to find someone, and I'm going to make them fall for me, just like Lucifer said,/" I say to Arlo with a smile, it's exactly what I'm going to do.

/"Grrrr...you never tell me anything/" he whines, making me smile, maybe I don't tell him everything, but one thing I knew I didn't have a plan yet.

/"You'll be in charge in my absence, I'm going to talk with Lucifer/" I tell him going to the throne room, to get the approval of Lucifer, I can't just leave without his permission first. Maybe I'll get some advice of Nova, she'd know how I could find a puppy of my own, and how to make it fall for me.
