My brother is just like my mother, short-tempered, he'll yell when he's angry and ignore me. I thought I was safe with him but that's the same I had to endure back home, it begins with yelling then beating.

He dragged me to the family house telling me I'll get my own room here, showing me around, and wanting me to make friends. He probably planned on leaving me here and leave, I'm a lot to take, trouble is all I bring.

So I decided to be one step ahead of him and leave, I did the same with my mother. I left one night, she didn't care really, she didn't go to the police or demand I go back home.
