I couldn't ignore the tingles that ignited as he gripped my wrist and held them above my head. I felt the bark of the tree stab into my back as he had me pressed against it. I bit my lip, not from excitement but from fear. He raised his lips up to my ear and growled. 

"There is nothing between you and I. You don't deserve to become the Luna of my pack, you are weak." He hissed into my ear. 

I watched as he walked out of the forest. I heard my heart shattering to pieces.

I felt a soft hand continuously shake me back and forth as I groaned and rolled over, annoyed at the intruder for disrupting my slumber.

/"Eve leave me the hell alone and let me sleep,/" I grumbled as I flipped over.

/"I don't know who Eve is but you gotta get up, you're lucky the Alpha has sent me to come and fetch you instead of someone else,/" I heard a soft voice giggle that sounded nothing like anyone I knew.

My eyes shot wide open in surprise as a young woman appeared before me, smiling warmly at me.

I wasn't at the white wolves pack, I was at the Dark Moon pack where last night I just discovered that Alpha Derek was my second chance mate, something I dreaded but also longed to see what it might lead to be.
