I couldn't ignore the tingles that ignited as he gripped my wrist and held them above my head. I felt the bark of the tree stab into my back as he had me pressed against it. I bit my lip, not from excitement but from fear. He raised his lips up to my ear and growled. 

"There is nothing between you and I. You don't deserve to become the Luna of my pack, you are weak." He hissed into my ear. 

I watched as he walked out of the forest. I heard my heart shattering to pieces.

Black Assassin Wings

Confused and annoyed I decided I was tired of the mortal games and I just wanted to be left alone to my own thoughts. I quickly ran out of the pack house, slipping past those around me and made my way out towards the forest where I sat under a large shady tree with its leaves slightly blowing in the wind.

'You are THE black winged assassin Angel, you eliminate those the Moon Goddess no longer deems worthy, you are one of the bridges between life and death itself for the mortals'

I shook my head as I mentally face palmed myself, I was not the one to be wrapped up in such tedious and dramatical circumstances even when it came to my mate.

I looked up at the sky and noticed the sun slowly setting over the horizon but I refused to go back into the pack house at this moment. I closed my eyes and concentrated hard as I tried to locate Eve's mind throughout the world.
